# Sales report

Open **Reports**, then **Sales**. The report is gross sales, orders, and breakdowns for the period you select.

Charts on the page compare the selected period with a reference:

- hourly sales and hourly orders for one local calendar day, against a trimmed seven-week weekday average for the same clock hour
- daily gross sales and daily order counts, against the previous period of the same length
- a breakdown of gross sales by sales segment, by a tag key you enter, by product category, or by top products

An empty chart means there is no sales data for that period or for that breakdown. For a tag breakdown, enter a tag key such as source.

You can add tiles for a tag mix, a category mix, or top products. Removing a tile only changes your report layout. You can add it again later. Filters inside an expanded top-products tile apply only while that dialog stays open.

The Dashboard shows a shorter view of the same sales: today, this week, the month total, today by hour, and a month projection.
